My name is David Hogan. I'm a film historian & writer living in the Chicago area. My latest book, WIZARD OF OZ FAQ, will be published in July of this year by Applause, an imprint that specializes in books about film and television. (You can see the book's cover, and read a bit about it, on amazon.com. You can also see my previously published books on amazon by searching my professional name, David J. Hogan.)
One section of the Oz book discusses Oz fan fiction, which interests me very much. I read a lot of it in the course of my research, and just loved "A Dandelion for a Dandy Lion." Of all the Oz homages I read, this one was the sweetest, and the most gracefully expressed.
May I quote from the story's lines of dialogue? If you agree, I can send you a copy of the finished book, which will include your name on the acknowledgments page. Also (if you like), I'd be pleased to credit you in the main body of the manuscript, e.g. "In a 2012 story by Kat Lee, . . ."
