My thoughts on the November 3rd episode, Electric Avenue, for a WomenVerse challenge

I knew they were going to kill off Adam from almost the very moment the character was introduced, but I did not expect the events of this episode. I love what they did with him, and his romance with Ingrid has finally really captured me. I never thought that it would. I didn't think I would even like him, but now I wish they would have left him on the show, even if it had just been as a ghost. Actually, I think their romance after his death was even sweeter than before. It's such a shame they had to send his character on, especially as ghosts being allowed to stay only until the full moon for the first time or being forever stuck on Earth is a bunch of malarkey.

I figured out part of the storyline with Dash's former fiance long before this episode. I knew she was dead. I knew he felt to blame for it, but I didn't anticipate that he wasn't actually _to_ blame for it. I almost wish he was, because I do rather prefer Killian over him. I still haven't figured out exactly what all the boys' mother is up to, but I'm sure we'll find out in future episodes.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love Wendy! She makes this show for me! Of course, I've always loved my catty women, but for a beautiful and feisty Witch to be as comfortable in her human skin as in her feline fur pretty much makes my day! I love her remark about Elyse watching out because she has claws and isn't afraid to use them, and we have seen how well she uses her claws. I can certainly think of some people into whose brains I'd like to send a butterfly, but I am glad Joanna came to her senses, accepted the facts, and made up with her sister rather quickly. She is right: She has no right to be on her high horse about Wendy's actions when she herself has killed time and again. She would have done the very same thing if it had been either of her daughters about to go to jail instead of her.

The flower pentagram was beautiful, and the scene with the departing characters was truly a worthy tear-jerker moment. I still wish Adam could have stayed and hope to see more of Joanna's Harrison. As long as they keep Wendy being her catty self, however, I have a feeling I'm going to stay happy with this series for a long time to come. The Charmed references surely don't hurt, either.
