He dreams of her nightly now. Sometimes, he can change the dreams. He can come out the victor. He can destroy her instead of the other way around, with him ending up being dust at her fingertips, but always, she's there soon as he shuts his eyes.
He comes up with every possible excuse, but the truth is, she's there. His doubt can no longer persist when she touches him. He sees it in her eyes when she flips him over her and brings her stake down just short of his heart. He curses; the girl has power over him.
