He's too astonished and excited to think straight when he sees his dead wife standing mere feet from him in the cafe. He flocks to her side in an instant, but even as he covers her with hugs and kisses, deep inside, he knows something isn't right. Marian breaks their embrace with a cry of, "YOU!"
Her finger is pointing straight at Regina, who's watching them with her dark eyes full of heartbreak. Robin releases Marian's other hand immediately as his wife demands, "What is the evil Queen doing amongst you?"
He wonders if any one else sees the slight tremble in Regina's lips as they pull up into a thin smile. "I know you've been dead, dear, so you didn't get the memo, but I'm not evil any more."
"It's true," Henry says, rushing up as a murmur starts inside the crowded cafe. "She is good! Mom saved us all this time! Not my Mom Emma but my Mom Regina! She broke the curse!" He looks pleadingly up at Emma. "Tell them what she did!"
"What's that boy sputtering on about?" Marian asks Robin.
It's the same woman who saved her life who now steps forward, finally eager to help Regina after the harm she's caused. "Henry's right. Regina saved us all."
"She didn't save me! She tried to kill us both, Princess Leia!"
Emma makes a face. "About that," she tries to say, but Robin chooses then to speak up. "They're right, Marian. Regardless of whatever she may have done in the past, Regina is good now."
"Robin, if what you say is true, if I have been dead in this world until now, it's because she killed me!"
He pauses for only a moment in which Regina's heart rends more. "Even if that is so -- "
"It is so!"
"I have grown to known our Queen during the time you've been gone from our lives -- "
"She's not my Queen! She'll never be my Queen!"
"I have come to know her."
"You love her! I can see it in your eyes!" Before any one can stop her, Marian slaps Robin and runs out of the diner.
Robin rubs his cheek, but then it's to Regina he turns. "I do," he speaks softly, almost in awe of the fact himself. "I love you." He realizes now what was wrong: Marian may be his wife, but Regina is his True Love.
