Linda breathed deeply. Summer had finally come to New York. "Summer in the city," she sang, grinning from ear to ear. She was ready to be the kitty out there getting all the hunks, but she was due at work in one hour. There was only one thing to do. She hit speed dial on her phone and spoke into it as soon as Margaret answered, "I quit."
"AGAIN?!" Becker roared a moment later. "WHY DO WE PUT UP WITH HER?!"
"Because," Margaret retorted, giving him the Look, "she's the only one besides me who will stay here for what you pay!"
