Henry stops the moment he walks into his own home. His young eyes widen in horror, and he turns quickly back around to his friend. "Hum, let's go to your place," he says quickly.
"My place? Henry, I already told you about my Dad! We don't want any of his tea parties!" Grace cranes her neck to see around him. "Besides, what's going on in there? It can't be -- "
"We'll go to Granny's then," Henry decides quickly and, grabbing Grace's wrist, rushes away from home. Tea parties with the Mad Hatter are one thing. Bringing her home to an Evil Queen as his mother is another, but there is no way he's bringing his friend into his home when the Evil Queen is chasing his mother and has already locked the Sheriff's own handcuffs around her wrist!
Henry knows they didn't see him, and he doesn't want to see what's going to happen next to the couch caught between them. He doubles his speed, but the sound of Grace's laughter still makes him smile. Maybe one day he can put his mom's handcuffs on her, one day when they're not already attached to his other mother.
