"I wanted fine dining," Cogsworth complains when Lumiere returns and shimmies against his side, "not fast food!" The fireworks are in the sky again tonight. It's the perfect atmosphere for loving, but he's no longer in the mood.
"Oh, cherie," Lumiere croons with his most seductive pout, "you know when ze King hollers, I must go!"
"But every time?"
"You're usually ze one running faster zan I to see him!"
Cogsworth sighs heavily but can not argue with that fact. He has cared for Adam since he was a baby, and being an enchanted clock doesn't slow his pace in caring for their King, even in this wonderland of enchanted kingdoms come together called Disney World.
Lumiere tickles him with a small flame. Cogsworth shoos him away. "Enough of that! You'll set me on fire again!"
"We can always call zat mouse and his little brigade if need be. Ah! Look at zose fireworks, Cogsworth! Listen to ze crowd! Zey love us! Zey want us to be happy!"
"I would be happy," Cogsworth huffs, "if you'd stop running off!"
"Ze park will be closed shortly. Belle can see to our King for ze rest of ze night. I am yours, mon amour."
"Yeah, right -- "
"Ah, come here!" Lumiere wraps his sticks tightly around Cogsworth and sets to kissing him. Cogsworth begins to wave him away, but as the little hands on his face spin swiftly around in excitement, he relents. Lumiere kisses him more passionately, and he sighs, letting the joy touch him.
"What was his problem this time any way?"
"He got his tail caught in zat white zing again."
"The toilet again?!" Cogsworth laughs. His laughter sparks Lumiere's, but the candle has stopped kissing him. "Well, don't stop now! Don't ever stop!"
"I will not," Lumiere promises and covers him again.
