Will looks through the telescope and spreads it gaze slowly across the ship, the sea, and finally out to the islands they're approaching. They'll hit them before nightfall, but they've still got a good couple of hours out to sea. "It does give a good view," he murmurs. Finally lowering the telescope and looking to Jack, he shrugs, "I still don't see why you like it up here so much, though."
Jack grins. "Are ye daft, boy?" There's a familiar twinkle in his dark, kohl-rimmed eyes that Will's come to know means he's about to do something very mischievous that could possibly lead to greater trouble, but the way he steps closer to him hints that he might actually like what's about to happen. Jack's grin spreads wide across his handsome face as he tells him, "We can see them, but they can't see us."
There's a touch of sun-kissed heat in Jack's gold ring as he caresses Will's cheek. He brushes his thumb across his cheek and over his lips before replacing it with his own lips. He kisses him long and deep, and Will doesn't have the heart to step away. He moans softly instead, answering Jack's passion with own tongue and lips, but when Jack pauses to give him breath, he whispers, "Are you sure they can't see us?"
That twinkle he's coming to love sparkles in Jack's eyes. "Aye, I'm sure," he answers.
It's Will who closes the remaining distance between them now, Will who initiates their next kiss, and whose arms wrap tightly around Jack. His tongue sweeps across Jack's as he strives to reach the very back of his mouth and fill him completely. He sinks down into the crow's nest, drawing his Captain down with him and on top of him. The crew can wait an hour yet to hear their cry of "Land ho!"
