Arizona blearily makes her way to the kitchen. "I didn't mean to fall asleep," she says, yawning and stretching. Selina answers her, but she can't quite understand what the older woman is saying through a full mouth. She yawns again, flashes on the kitchen light, and stops mid-yawn.
Selina glances up at her from over the refrigerator door, sucking in a tail as she does so. Arizona stares and blinks rapidly even as the Catwoman grins. "These gummy mice are delicious, Ari."
That's right. Gummy mice, Arizona reminds herself, smiling back at Selina. Her heroine is so beautiful even in the dim kitchen light at this time of the morning. Arizona suspects she'd be just as beautiful with a raw rat tail hanging out of her mouth, but thank God, despite all Selina's feline attributes, that's one habit she doesn't share with her cats.
"Where'd you find them again?" Selina asks, coming out of the fridge with another gummy mouse and a quart of milk.
"Ebay," Ari murmurs, watching her.
Selina downs another mouse, then drinks her milk straight from the carton. She pauses as Arizona comes closer. Her eyes focused on one of the few humans she's ever loved, Selina licks the milk from her lips.
"You've got a little right here," Arizona whispers, leaning up and licking milk from just above Selina's top lip.
Selina grins. "What would I do without you, kid?" She purrs, and as she kisses Arizona, Ari hopes neither of them ever find out.
