It was so easy to make Chloe blush that Alek often found the desire to do so an impossible temptation to quell. He could catch her attention just by thinking of her, and it only took one time of their eyes locking to start making them both feel heated. Sometimes, when they were out in public, Alek would purr her name so softly that only she could hear him. Her reactions to his little, quiet ways of getting the attention he so richly deserved were always immediate, delightful, and thoroughly rewarding.

Thus it was that Alek purringly whispered Chloe's name while she was in the midst of displaying her science experiment for her final grade. Her emerald eyes instantly flashed to him. He smiled cheekily and touched the tip of his tongue to his upper lip.

Chloe started stuttering. Their teacher looked between them before snapping, "Mister Petrov, leave the girl alone! Haven't you already flustered our female student body enough? You don't need to bring it into the classroom too!"

Alek smiled innocently and folded his hands demurely before him on his desk. "I wasn't doing anything, sir."

"Then stop looking like the cat who ate the canary!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't." Alek shrugged and hid his mischievous grin well. "It's my natural look."

"Alek!" Chloe whispered warningly, but then her volcano exploded and brought every one's attention back to her project. "Are you trying," she asked, growling, after class, "to get us into trouble?"

"Of course not!" He beamed. "I'm just trying to get your attention, and you know you like it." Chloe started to protest, but he stopped her with a kiss. The passion of their kiss soon had her purring her agreement instead. "Just leave it out of school," she warned afterward and kissed him again.
