As he followed her scent, which he'd always loved, Angel wondered how he was going to apologize. Why was it, whenever things started going well between them, he managed to screw things up? He loved Cordelia and wanted her to be happy but instead kept making her sad.
He found her, of all places, on a slide in a playground. "What are you doing?"
"Being as mature as you." He stood before her as she slid to a stop.
"I'm sorry," he started and stopped when she rolled her eyes.
"Oh, just shut up and kiss me, Dead Boy." He did.
