"Do you want to play a game?"

Dorothy looked over at Blanche, her irritation clear on her face. Only her girlfriend would think of playing a game at a time like this, when they were stuck in an airport in the middle of a frozen blizzard not knowing rather her mother and Rose would make it to them or if their plane had never gotten off the ground in the first place. She didn't want to play a stupid game! She wasn't Rose, always looking at the world from the eyes of a child! No wonder the formerly blonde ditz had gotten on the wrong plane!

And now . . . She looked pass Blanche to the snow drifting outside in seemingly endless blankets and thought of all the things that could have caused their plane to go down. Now, she didn't know where they were, when she would see them again, or if they were even okay. "Hell no, I don't want to play a game!" she seethed, turning her anger into a glower and pointing it directly at the Southern belle who was now annoying her.

"Fine." Blanche's shoulders shrugged; her breasts shook in her low cleavage. "Ah'm sure that Captain's still around here somewhere, an' he wouldn't mind playin' Truth or Strip wit' th' world's most gorgeous woman."

"Marilyn Monroe's been dead for years, Blanche, and how can you think of something like," she dropped her voice to a whisper, but her fury still seethed in her voice, "sex at a time like this?!"

Blanche sighed, turned, and dropped beside her. Her hand caressed hers. "Ah was just tryin' to make you feel bettah."

"I'm not going to feel better until Ma's back." But despite her words, as Blanche held her hand, Dorothy did start to feel just a little better.
