Our Babies: Our Middle Agers

Razzle Tazzle is better known as Taz. Her sister, Frosty Dazzle, is sadly no longer with us, but Taz is the aunt to Hansel and Tiger.

Taz is a sweetheart when she's inside but does still tend to lose her mind when outside. We've rescued her many times from our own yard, because she gets frightened so easily and forgets who she is and who we are. But once inside, she always returns to herself. :-)







Christopher "Pher Pher" Snowflake was originally born in the city wilds to a beautiful, white cat who I'd been trying to save from the city wilds for a long time. I finally managed to catch the kitten, got my adopted sister to help, and lured Mama Kitty to safety with her boy. Mama Kitty never answered another name and was one of many we lost by being cruelly poisoned while we were in the city (we could never prove it), but Christopher and her other two kids with us, Carlos and Millie, are still doing well, thank the good Lord.

Chris went a little wild on us when we moved the second time with him but the first time, he ran straight into the house. He has since began to settle down here at home and has even started hanging out indoors more often than outside. He's a true sweetheart and loves being stroked as long as he trusts you. His half-siblings are Millie and Carlos.








Carlos Antonio Sandoval is actually a female. :-) She's another who loves the outdoors but has also started recently, in the last few Winter months, spending more time inside to be closer to yours truly. Like her brother, Millie, she loves doing my hair. :-)









Millie's the boy in the sibling pair of Carlos and him, and as most toms versus queens, he's the sweetest amongst the trio (their half brother, again, is Christopher). He loves attention, stays primarily inside to be close to me, and enjoys doing my hair. Sadly, he doesn't get along well with his brothers and sisters, but we're working on that issue.







Hansel is Tiger's brother, Chancy and Elliot's uncle, and Hedwig's son. (See Hedwig's information to learn how we came by him and his sister. :-) ) He has also rather become the neighborhood cat (or, at least, what passes for a neighborhood here -- three houses) more than just ours. He loves to travel and makes the rounds daily. He is also a great mouser and loved by almost every one who meets him for that and his sweet, if somewhat talkative, disposition.

His nickname has become Hanselcakes as he's grown older, but when he was a kitten just beginning to come into his own as a young tom, he had a rather unusual trademark: I don't usually talk about kitty!porn online these days, but his little mounds were in the form of an upside down heart! So unique! :-)






Tiger has always been a small kitty, but she grew a lot after getting pregnant -- AFTER a couple of different vetenarians said she was too small to ever get pregnant or go into heat and thereby did not need a spay job when we took her to get fixed. In the long run, however, it was a good thing she got pregnant as she blessed us with four wonderful boys, three of whom came out looking very Siamese despite their mother's coloring and their father being a beautiful, brown bengal (and another who was thrown out), Fonzie. Tragically, Fonzie, Medes, and Blaze have all been taken from us way too soon.

Tiger is also my beloved Drew's top kitty. She's a total daddy's girl and has little to do with momma. We actually fight over our boys, because Tiger seems to think, as she birthed them, she can hit them whenever she wants. Needless to say, this mother doesn't tolerate that.







Lenora's nickname is Lola. She's another who was thrown out at the station and is another kitty who's always going to be on the small side. She's also recently started having some health issues, but a diet of moist food seems to be doing the trick so far.

She's a very independent kitty, although she doesn't cause much trouble. She'll tolerate being petted but hates being picked up. She remains very stand offish to this day unless food is concerned.
