Silver moonlight seeped in through the thick tops of the ancient trees waving slowly in the Summer time breeze. The smiling moon cast an almost supernatural glow upon the pair below her. The orange cat smiled as he ran his claws over the brim of his wide, feathered cap. "Prrray," he purred while extending his mighty sword, "for merrrcy from Puss in Boots!"
His low cry would strike at the very heart of the bravest creatures, but the one it was aimed at now smiled. "Bring it on," he challenged and then hee-hawed his delight as Puss did just that!
