He tricked and slayed the Ogre, then killed the evil King who replaced him. He defeated Humpty Dumpy and bested every villain in the land. No one could touch him, let alone match him. Then, one day, he started coughing. The coughs racked his furry body so violently that he was knocked to all fours, shaking and quivering from nose to tail. His orange fur stood on end. His magic boots could not help him on this one. A ball exploded out of his mouth. He looked at the big, oozing ball of fur. "Hairball, you've bested me at last."
