Moonlight guides them to their destination. They pull their guns and position, each on one side of the door, and their eyes meet. A million unsaid words pass through their locked gaze. They have each other's backs; they'll gladly die for one another. They don't know exactly what they'll find behind this door, but they'll save the day again. They'll win this mission, and every one that follows, together. They'll keep fighting only as long as the other one can, always beside each other and loving one another. Then they knock down the door, and it's business again as usual.
