Sometimes, it seems, my darling,
I can see you just as clear as day,
Laying on our bed,
Sunning in the yard,
Waiting for me to call you
By name, to pay reverence
To your beauty and wonder.

Sometimes I can almost feel you
Laying beside me,
Twining between my feet,
Waiting for me to stroke your beautiful fur
Or for your next can of Fancy Feast.

I remember with great fondness
How you took such pleasure
In dining on Fancy Feast and other such treats
In your crystal bowls and on
Your silver platters.

You always were so fancy, my sweet,
A true Queen with which we were blessed.
Twenty one years could never have been enough
Nor fifty nor a hundred nor a million.
Even eons could not have been enough time
To know your love and be graced
By your royal presence, my Queen.

But now you're gone from us,
Taken far too soon, and no matter
How many times I think I see you,
I know where you are.

I know you await me just beyond
The Rainbow Bridge in Eternity's Bliss.
I know you're cared for by God Himself,
And I know you know you're loved
And missed by us all.

I've just got to overcome all
The temptations of this world.
I must not succumb to the sorrow
Or the anger or any of the other trials.

I must be the mother you'd
Want me to be,
The person you'd have me to be,
Live through my time, and then
One day in eternity, we'll be
Together again.

Then I shall never let you go,
And even now and forever,
I shall never stop loving you.
I shan't cease to miss you, either,
While still this mortal shell exists.

I'm waiting for that day, my Queen,
And your most loyal, loving servant
Is missing you forever and
Always loving you
With all my heart,
All my soul.
You are my Queen,
And I am yours.
