He knows the very moment she arrives, although she doesn't make a sound. He knows she's looking over his shoulder, eyeing everything he's packing. "Ropes and duct tape?" Sophie asks in clear surprise.
Eliot doesn't say a word but pauses to roll up his sleeves. She watches him calmly; he's not angry at her. Rather, he's embarrassed. She has to hide a grin at that realization. "I didn't take you for the bondage type."
"They're not mine," he says softly. "They're Hardison's."
"Really?" Sophie moves her glass of champagne around in her hand. "I didn't know our little hacker had it in him." She smiles at the image of Eliot allowing Hardison to tie him up and have his way with him, but her brown eyes watch the bubbles swirling in her glass. "The things we do for those we love," she murmurs.
"Yeah," Eliot answers noncommittally and returns to packing for his getaway weekend with Alec. He grins the moment he leaves Sophie. She doesn't have to know, after all, how much he enjoys being tied up and "used" by the man he loves. Hardison did buy the stuff. Eliot just did the packing, but they'll both enjoy the results.
