There's a sick and twisted part of her that wants to whisper, "Bite me now," but she knows she can't. She's got responsibilities. She's got friends who need her, a whole world who needs her. But then again, that's part of what makes the thought of surrender to him so tempting.
It doesn't help, either, that the hands that are holding her belong to the man she loves. She knows the thing holding her against her will isn't Angel -- it's the evil he's fought against for so long that she -- stupid, stupid girl -- let out, but it looks like Angel. He's got his face, literally, but the eyes are wrong. The eyes are full of evil, demands, a hunger unlike anything her Angel has ever portrayed before. It's the eyes that tell her to run, the eyes that warn away, the eyes that scream at her that this monster isn't her boyfriend and will kill her if she's not careful.
So she doesn't cave. She doesn't tell him to turn her. She doesn't hit him with idle threats. But she does stare into those eyes so full of hate and anger. She stares into those eyes, wishing with all her heart that they really did belong to the man she loves. She stares into those eyes, knowing Angel's never looked at her like this before and knowing, too, what he'd say if she could hear him now.
He'd tell her to kill him. She doesn't want to, but she will if she must. She's still hoping Willow or Miss Calendar or even Giles will find an answer. She's got to buy time, but she knows already that there's only a certain amount of time that she's going to be able to buy them. She thought she'd have so much longer with Angel. She could easily have an eternity with Angelus, but it's not him she wants. It's not him she loves.
For Angel, she thinks. She has to do this for Angel. So she stares into his eyes and fights with all she has, and all the while, she reminds herself she's doing it all for Angel.
