She's been bouncing all over the room, popping gum, playing video games, chattering, and even rollerblading inside, while he's sat in one corner, looking solemnly out the window at the drizzling rain. "Come on, Wolveroonie!" Jubes finally exclaims, throwing a comicbook at him. Logan barely ducks; the comic smacks the wall. "I'm bored!"
"Entertain yourself, kid."
"I've been trying! Come on! You gotta be bored, too!"
"Nope."
"But it's been raining all day!"
"I know."
"And that's no fun!"
"It can be." She looks pass him, sees Storm flying in the clouds, and shakes her head. He's not going to be any fun for her today.

Being Muskecateers has changed a lot of things for Miette and Corinne, but some things have stayed the same. Miette still doesn't like the rain, for instance. The drizzling gray reminds her of how bored she used to be on the farm when Corinne wasn't practicing. The thunder is reminiscent of dogs' booming barks. Lightning still makes her shiver with fear, but then, one day, that, too, changes when the rain brings her something good in a strapping young tom with a feathered cap, whom she soon learns is a Muskecateer, too, and with whom she quickly falls in love.

Rain droplets splashing on her little house remind her of scurrying goblin feet and a dream she wishes had been more than what it was. The wind beating at her rafters makes her remember the frantic beats of a determined owl's wings, but it is the lightning that truly takes her away to another time. She sees the beauty, danger, and excitement in it and wonders what could have happened if her dream hadn't been just a dream and she could have let the Goblin King love her.
"Ah, Sarah, it wasn't just a dream." But she never hears him.

Loving Mavis has changed everything for the mortal Jonathan. He even likes the rain now. The howling winds, thunder, and lightning hold no fear for somebody who's stared down Count Dracula's mesmerizing gaze. Plus, he hears the Werewolves howling and sees the ghosts rising up in the misty, drizzling downpour. The baby ghosts giggle as droplets fall through them.
Best of all, Jonathan sees the Vampire he loves floating right before him, her arms reaching out to pull him close for another kiss and quick nip on his lips. Being with her is paradise, even when it rains all week.

Jenny's white ears flicked backward at the sound of Mimi's growl. She lifted a hand, whisking Mimi up into an invisible wind. The fox had upstaged her for the last time!
"Ladies, ladies!" Bucky's left foot thumped nervously until Jenny's tail curling around it quieted it. "Let her go, Jenny."
"Not until you tell her you're mine," Jenny mrowled.
"I'm hers." Jenny unceremoniously dropped Mimi and resumed kissing Bucky.

The muscular, green Sprite just looks at her, not understanding, until she grabs Ray, dips him, and kisses him passionately. Then, Matrix actually smiles.
"Should I run, Sparky?" AndrAla teases him, remembering what she'd once told Ray.
"Only if you don't want me," he breathes, pulling her close.
"I always want you," she returns, lifting her face with joy and returning the kisses he rains upon her.

"It's just a game, Joey," DJ says, slinging balled socks into Jesse's leather boots.
He'll let Jesse remark to that when he gets home. For now, he just takes his slippers and runs.
