He grins at him, his gold tooth flashing brilliantly in the shadows pooling into his Captain's cabin. "Ye din't ask much di ye, lad?"

Will shrugs and keeps his gaze steady, keeps his gaze on Jack's face, not on what he's offering. He's offering him a greater treasure than Will feels quite certain any man has ever known, but he knows the truth will be in his face. It will be in his eyes, so dark and sensual, surrounded by kohl. It's not in his touch. His touch is addictive, far more so than rum or poison or anything else the young blacksmith has ever felt. His touch can lie, but his eyes can not.

"Ye drive a hard bargain."

Will lifts his chin, resolute in his determination. He will not take this bargain for one night only. One night could never be enough with the treasure Jack offers. He's a Pirate, but Will no longer cares. The treasure beckons him forth, and it's all he can do to keep his own eyes from betraying him and going back to linger upon it. "I mean it, Jack," he says.

"F'rever?" Jack asks, and Will nods. "Not jest in th' mornin'?" He flashes him a brilliant, shimmering grin. He's had that asked before many a time, and he's always managed to persuade the wench to believe he'll still love her in the morning. But Will Turner is no wench. No woman has ever touched him like Will does. No woman has ever entered his heart, and that is exactly why the Pirate is so hesitant to give his word. If he gives his word tonight, he knows he'll keep it, but he knows, too, that no single night or even morning after will ever be enough with this man whose mere touch sways inside of him, filling parts that even the sea has never touched.

Will nods again, but Jack's hands are on him once again. He tries to stay strong and still, unmoving, unwavering. Jack's fingers caress his arms, lingering on scars that no one else has ever touched or will. Elizabeth gasped in shock the one time she saw them. He knows she doesn't like them. He knows they're ugly, but the way Jack's hands smooth over them makes them feel beautiful. He makes him feel beautiful and actually, genuinely wanted for the first time in his life.

But one night will not be enough, Will knows. One night with this infamous Pirate Captain will only be enough to change his life forever. He'll never be able to feign solid dedication to Elizabeth again. He loves her, but not in the way he claims, not in the way a husband should, and that is the agreement they have reached. He is to marry her so that she will have a friend forever and not be sentenced to life with a man she can not love. At least, as she's told him before, she already loves him as a friend if nothing more.

But one night with Jack will change his life forever. He'll never be able to look at Elizabeth or another woman again. He'll never be able to love anybody else. Jack is in his heart. He feels him thrumming within him already, but if he can not have him forever, he will not sentence himself to one night of passion to be followed by a lifetime of sorrow. He squares his shoulders as Jack lovingly cups his face and runs his thumbs softly over his hardened cheeks. He will not do it.

Will's chocolate brown eyes bore into Jack's dark orbs. "Will you love me forever?" he asks again, and the Pirate Captain sighs.

His eyes drop from his, and in that moment, a chill etches throughout Will's blood that's been running hot ever since he met the man. He shivers underneath his hands and begins to step away, but Jack's fingers curl around his face and stop his movement. "Aye," the proud Captain answers at last, raising his head and looking back into Will's eyes.

Will's stopped still not just by his answer but by the truths he sees shining in Jack's eyes. He means it! He means the word, and he's terrified that he is making a mistake. He thinks Will will leave him when he's done with him, but Will already knows better. He'll never be done with Jack. He'll always want more of him.

"But only if'n ye'll make th' same bargain, luv."

Will shakes his head, smiling and lifting his hands to Jack's face. He cups him now and strokes his beard and hair with the fine, delicate touches of a genuine lover. "It's not a bargain," he tells him. "It's a promise. I will love you forever, Captain Jack Sparrow, my Captain."

Their lips sear together in that moment as they both realize the truth. They have changed each other's lives forever already. Will has little choice but to agree; the Pirate Captain stole his heart the first night they were alone together at sea. And as for Jack, well, he's never had any one he's truly loved before except the Pearl, but he'd even surrender her for an eternity with Will. They are two halves of one whole, sealed together at last and forever.

Jack doesn't speak the words, but they're not needed. Will saw the truth in his eyes already, and he feels it in his kiss. He feels it every time he touches him, and the answering song his heart sings is the most beautiful sound Jack has ever heard, more beautiful even than the Sirens' call or the sea herself by far. His heart answers, and they meld together into a perfect union.

The End

Sealed
