Blanche was always going on about her Southern pride to the point the woman often sounded almost prejudiced, as though the rest of the world couldn't hold a thimble of the passion that seared through the South. It wasn't until she finally kissed Dorothy late one night that Dorothy began to think there might be something to that theory. "Wow!" she whispered as Blanche's lips left hers, immediately clamping a hand around the back of her neck and urging her mouth back down onto hers; she'd never think about the heat and passion of the South the same way again!
