Introducing the brand new Fan Fic Land community where five teams compete in weekly drabble (1,000 words and less, preferrably in even hundred counts) fic challenges and monthly (1,000 words or more) fic challenges to see who can reach 5,000 points first!  Our teams are: 

Team Hollywood: movies
Team Librarians: books
Team Stars: TV shows
Team Toons: cartoons and anime
Team True Believers: comic books

BTW, I haven't forgotten about posting fics regularly.  I will get back to that.  Really, I will.  Jack and I have been going on very little sleep lately.  Four hours today and four hours yesterday.

Hey, do you remember where that comm is that tries to list all the land comms? I found it one day last week and saw that you'd posted Disney_Uberland on it but don't remember what the name of that comm was.

Yup, that's it! :-) Thanks, and thanks for all your help and telling me about the other one too. I'll check it out here shortly. Got the advertising done. Now I'm waiting for, and hoping that, the members will come. Got three so far besides myself! :-)

I'm definitely interested in adding our own header, but I think we're looking at least okay for right now. I'd just like some lay outs that were more geared toward the various teams (like something with comics for Team True Believers). I tried googling, but it comes up with CSS coding and that stuff has always given me a headache.

I'll check that out a little bit later, too; thanks. :-)

I completely understand about being busy. I'm thinking about getting out of some of the things I'm in (not Disney) to make sure I've got enough time for this, but I'm going to wait to see how busy things get. I hope it goes over well and have a much better feeling about this already than I've had about my ProBoard in months. If you get to where you have more time and would like to join, feel free to do so, and if you know any other fan fic writers who might be interested, please do spread the word. :-)

Sorry, I misread your "suck at writing" as "stuck at writing". I'm trying to give Jack a computer lesson without being allowed to look at his computer while still trying to do what I'm trying to do. :-)

Any way, readers are welcome, too, if you want to join later but don't want to write. Just specify that you're a reader. :-) Although I honestly believe that any one who thinks that he/she sucks at writing just needs to keep trying and they'll find the Muse within.
