        Clark blushed crimson red as he shyly dared to meet his beloved Lex's gaze. Lex struggled to breathe though he knew his innocent sweetheart was scared. Clark's heart thundered so loudly within his ears that he wondered how Lex could not hear it, and never would he have guessed at Lex's thoughts. Despite his super abilities, Clark knew he was nowhere near super in the way that most mattered in this moment.

        Though gazing directly at his love, Lex felt, rather than saw, his fidgeting for he could not take his eyes off of his golden beauty. The sun had truly kissed Clark's form, and all his work on the farm had done him well. Lex had always known that Clark was breath-taking, but seeing him again now was suddenly like seeing him for the first time -- and falling in love with him all over again.

        For as long as Lex had known him, his sweet Clark had always been blessed with abundance, and his body was further proof of that richness. His skin glowed radiantly, and his every muscle screamed with strength. Having seen the wonders of the world, Lex was no stranger to beauty, but he had never seen his own greatest wonder shine with more perfected beauty until just now.

        "L-Lex?" Clark quietly stuttered, and the fear sounding in his anxious voice broke Lex out of his stunned reverie.

        "Wow," he breathed. Gazing into his soul mate's baby blue eyes, he assured him, while walking to him, "You're beautiful, Clark." He took his hands in his and gave him a gentle squeeze. "Absolutely amazing." And then, smiling from ear to ear as he heart soared infinitely higher than it had ever flown before, he kissed his man and prepared eagerly to love him gently all night long.
