I know everybody has problems. My heart goes out especially to my friend who recently lost her dad and another friend who's having way too much hospital time. I try not to bog down my Internet friends with RL issues, which is why I haven't posted about RL in a long time here. ( But, damn it, I need help. )

Our little Buddy has gone through the names. When we first rescued her, my beloved Drew named her Bartina, but Dad couldn't pronounce her name. He started calling her Bartender instead (which is why we often joke with her about where our rum is). She named herself purrmanently, however, after watching Open Season. She went to instant alert every time that little porcupine showed up calling out, "Buddy", and the name has fit. More pics of this lovely lady here!
