Ahoy, all! Some of you know my beloved Jack and I have been going through hard times recently. Things are beginning to look up money wise as we both now have jobs, but going back to work and being available for all shifts (eugh!) is decreasing our time together and our time online. I've recently discovered that I'm spending almost as much time writing/typing/formatting stories as I am actually posting said stories. This is something clearly, with the new schedule, that I want to cut back on, so here's the deal:

From now on, I will be posting, or trying to post, one weekly update of stories. As many of you are aware, I write in around a hundred different fandoms with even more varied couplings and characters, so I'll make note of each fandom, character, and pairing accordingly as well as giving you my own highlights and perhaps my beloved Jack's as well. You can also look forward to one cute kitty picture and a new recipe to try every week.

Below you will find the first fresh updating from Pirate Turner. Now, some of these stories have actually been posted here recently, but there's at least ten that are completely new. From this week on, you'll need to check the updates to see what this scribbling Pirate is putting out next. :-)

I hope you all find something to enjoy not just this week but every week! Safe and joyous sailing with your loved ones!

Our Babies

Always, we are most grateful for our family, most especially for each other first and then our darling babies. Each one of our children is a blessing for whom we are eternally grateful to our Gods. At long last, we have pictures of almost all our living babies online to be shared here. Every one has at least two pictures except for our newest comers; our little Tiger just had four blessedly healthy and happy kittens around midnight Tuesday! Enjoy while we beam in the pleasure and pride of happy fathers showing off their darling children! :-)

More Lola )Our sweet, little Lenora/Lola/Mort gave us another scare today.  When we moved this past Halloween/Samhain, we stuck most of our stuff into the storage house here and have been going through it slowly.  With Spring finally being able to be tasted in the air today, we were able to work on going through all of that stuff out there for nearly all day, and during that course, Lenora climbed up onto the top of the storage house.  At first, she was quite cute up there, but unfortunately, it appears that she somehow fell asleep or, at least, had a major Joxer moment.  I'd like to think the little lady's more graceful than that and, therefore, purrfer the prior.  She fell off of the storage house and landed on her side!  Thankfully, even before I reached her (and I was running and was nearest to her), she had popped right back up to her little paws.  When I picked her up, she climbed up onto my shoulders and started purring.  I've still been worried about her tonight, but she seems to be doing just fine, thank the Gods and Goddesses!  :-)

In other news, Trent got back out today.  We're beginning to think about just letting our little Pirate boy run wild as it seems to, for whatever, bizarre reason, be the only thing he really wants -- that and the leftover water in the bath tub soap dish.  And aye, he was neutered long ago.

Lenora gave us a scare yesterday.  We had some nasty, rainy, and cold weather moving in, and she disappeared on us.  We went calling her up and down the road, checked with the neighbors who've adopted two of our babies, and still no answer.  Jack went into the storage house, calling her, still no answer.  After I finished making our crab quiche for dinner, I went out and checked the storage house after him, and she popped right up out of a box!  At least, thank Gods, everybody's home safe now!!  :-)
